Student Leadership at Pal Buddhist School

At Pal Buddhist School the development of leadership skills in a supportive environment is one of the learning opportunities offered to all students.

It is our aim to foster responsibility, initiative, independence and leadership in all our students who will be given many opportunities to engage in leadership activities throughout their school careers.

We develop our students into leaders with the selfless purpose to light up the world. Having effective student leaders who embody the values of wisdom, morality and diligence supports the culture of cultivating Compassion, Loving-Kindness, Equanimity and Selfless Joy.

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a student organisation at Pal Buddhist School that operates in both the Primary School and High School. They are dedicated to representing its student body as well as representing the school to the community.

Through the SRC, there are a variety of student leadership opportunities that include student representation and extra-curricular involvement. As role models for the school, they must embody the virtues and ethics of a responsible and committed leader while working towards building the school internally and externally.

Through their efforts, they have accomplished driving school initiatives and community outreach projects and fundraisers for non-profit organisations, such as Jeans for Genes Day, Tzu Chi Christmas Appeal, Gift of Giving, Daffodil Day, and more.
