Bequest

"If you knew what I know about the power of givingyou would not let a single meal pass without sharing in some way." - Buddha

Financial support has been instrumental in ensuring the success of Australia's first Buddhist K-12 school, by supplying the means to foster the academic, physical, and spiritual growth of our students. With this aid, we can bring to life Mr. Pal's aspiration of creating a distinguished and prestigious Buddhist institution that develops morally upright young leaders an  serving as a model for others to establish esteemed Buddhist schools worldwide.

By choosing to leave a bequest to Pal Buddhist School in your Will, you can actively participate in preserving this significant endeavour and make certain that our one-of-a-kind educational approach reaches future generations of students.

Leave a legacy in your will and help nurture the wholesome moral young leaders of tomorrow.

What is a bequest?

A bequest is a gift specified in your Will that will contribute to the future of the School whilst still enjoying your assets during your lifetime. Gifts to Pal Buddhist School have touched past, present and future students and their families.

what are the different options of bequests?

Pal Buddhist School offers several options for bequests, including:

  • general purpose
  • specific bequests for tuition and programs in designated faculties,
  • development of sporting facilities or to support sporting activities for students
  • development of creative and performing arts facilities or to support creating activities for students
  • maintenance or replacement of school buildings and grounds
  • provision scholarships for students in our Canley Vale campus, Leppington campus, or for Indigenous students
  • provision of bursaries for students facing financial hardship due to their parents' or guardians' difficult financial circumstances.

While general purpose bequests offer greater flexibility, these options allow donors to direct their contributions towards areas they feel most passionate about.

What If i already have a will?

If you already have a Will, it is relatively straightforward to include a gift in your Will to Pal Buddhist School. To do so, you may wish to complete the Codicil Form below.

You will need to have your signature on the completed Codicil Form witnessed by two people at the same time and all three of you must use the same pen. The two witnesses should NOT be members of your family or related to you in any way. They also should not be persons mentioned in your Will, such as a beneficiary or executor.
