Pal Secondary
Welcome to Pal Secondary, where we redefine senior education to unlock full potential through our unique structure. We are dedicated to shaping not only the academic success of our students but also their personal growth and character development, particularly equipping our secondary students with the wisdom and assets to prosper in their future endeavours. We believe that schools should incorporate experiences outside the classroom, as they are just as vital in preparing our students for a bright and promising future.

Nurturing Leadership Attributes
We believe that true growth occurs when students are encouraged to explore their interests and passions. At Pal, we offer a wide range of diverse extracurricular and co-curricular activities that promote leadership, teamwork, and personal development. From literacy to creative and performing arts, our students have the opportunity to break out of their comfort zones, attain invaluable skillsets and experiences,, and engage in meaningful service within the school and the broader community.
Niche Academic Subjects
Our commitment to holistic education is evident in our compulsory subjects that cultivate qualities such as character, resilience, and life skills across Year 9-10. Here are a few examples:
- Life Ready: Students acquire essential life skills such as cooking, job interviews, and building interpersonal relations, preparing them for the challenges of the outer world.
- Pal B.U.I.L.D: This subject allows students to apply their knowledge and skills learned in various subjects to coordinate real-life projects, such as Vesak Day, Benefactors Luncheon, and Fundraising Gala, fostering a sense of responsibility and service.
- Drama and CAPA: These subjects encourage students to break out of their comfort zones and express themselves creatively, building confidence and self-awareness.
- S.T.E.A.M: We inspire a love for engineering and a curiosity about how the world works, motivating students to contribute to our ever-evolving world.
- Stage 6 Wake Up Classes: Our senior students mentor primary students and receive intensive tutoring to prepare for future HSC courses. This program instills a sense of gratitude, service, and leadership within our school community.
Master Curriculum
Since 2018, we have implemented Master Curriculum as our mode of delivery for the Higher School Certificate (HSC). Unlike the traditional HSC delivery, our Master Curriculum method offers unparalleled benefits that can elevate learning experience to new heights. That is, instead of being examined on all units in Year 12, Pal students learn and sit the HSC for 3 subjects in Year 11, while the remaining units are then sat in Year 12. This focused approach not only ensures a deeper understanding of the subjects but also allows more free time for comprehensive understanding, and the freedom to explore their intrinsic talents and interests. Such HSC subjects offered at Pal are:
- English Studies, Standard English, English Advanced, English Extension I and English Extension II
- General Mathematics, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension I and Mathematics Extension II
- Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- Ancient History, Modern History, History Extension I, Legal Studies, Economics and Business Studies
- Community and Family Studies
Furthermore, we are proud to collaborate with a diverse range of HSC Distance Education colleges and the Secondary College of Languages. This collaborative approach allows us to offer a wide array of opportunities tailored to each student's unique needs and interests. We understand that every student is different, and by partnering with these institutions, we ensure that each student can access the resources and support necessary for their academic journey.
