International Students at Pal

International students choose to study in Australia because of its friendly nature, cultural diversity excellent education system, and high standard of living. It is currently the third most popular destination for international students in the English-speaking world, behind the United States and the UK.
Graduates from Australian schools are highly sought after due to the impressive international reputation of the Australian education system. This system is carefully regulated by the government in order to maintain the high standards of education associated with the country.
Australia’s standard of living is amongst the highest in the world. Living expenses and tuition costs are considerably lower in Australia than they are in the United States and United Kingdom. Institutions in Australia offer a wide variety of courses and degrees, so international students can easily find the school and field that are right for them.
Pal Buddhist School is a "home away from home" for our international students.
The cultural and Buddhist traditions of our school, and our passion for the local community, helps international students experience the best of what Australia has to offer and achieve academic excellence in an inclusive and familiar environment.
International Student Society
Our International Student Society was launched to help international students feel more at home in Australia. The club helps international students make friends and regularly plans activity and excursions to help them experience what it is like to be an "Australian local".
★ Excursion 1 - Circular Quay to Watson's Bay
Sun, ocean, beaches, and fish and chips - what an authentic Australian experience!
The International Student Society trekked on the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Milson's Point, caught a ferry to Watson's Bay, had lunch at the famous Doyle's restaurant, and had plenty of fun at the beach of course!
"Going to this excursion was the most fun day ever since I came to Australia. It’s not just about observing things around you or going to the places you haven’t gone to, but it’s also about those moments when you get to know other people and have fun with each other."
"Experiencing different weather and how you work in a team. The food, the activities, the ferry and the train, I made so many memories that I could never forget. I’m glad I joined this excursion. Looking forward for to our next one!"
