Homestay and Accommodation

Pal Buddhist School provides the highest quality of homestay by engaging extensively with parents and homestay providers, in order to ensure the child’s safety and well-being.

The school is in regular contact with the home parents for updates on their child’s well-being, conduct and general progress.

Our International Student Coordinator organises support for our student after they have enrolled at Pal Buddhist High School. Parents and guardians are regularly contacted to support student’s new life in Australia. International students are paired with a “buddy” to help them socialise and settle into our school.

Students’ attendance, academic performance and welfare are regularly monitored to ensure that they can achieve well. They also have access to specialised support for English language acquisition through English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) classes taught by trained teachers.

International students can choose to live with parents, relatives or a local family (if aged 13 years and older). Homestay with a local family is the most popular option and is a great way for international students to experience life in Sydney, immerse themselves in the culture of Australia, and improve their English language skills.
