“Creative thinking inspires ideas. Ideas inspire change.” – Barbara Januskiewicz
Students at Pal Buddhist School are provided with various co-curricula initiatives that may not normally occur as part of the day-to-day programs within the school. Some of the activities of our creative thinkers, designers and performers range from creating their own magazine covers to the junior technology class sewing pillows and pyjamas. Also, our talented musical students perform at the Lunar New Year Festival, annually.
Some examples of Creatives Arts opportunities include:
- Singing (Glee) Club
- Theatre Sports (Improv) Club
- Music Nights
- Visual Arts displays
- Stage Band
- Instrumental lessons
Our teaching emphasis in the Arts is directed towards promoting individuality, teamwork, the generation of creative ideas and activities, performance, problem solving, the development of aesthetic values, the development of various Arts skills and an appreciation of the Arts in a variety of cultures and settings.
